Arts & Entertainment

Northwest Arkansas has a thriving arts community. Galleries, museums, theaters, music venues, fairs and festivals enrich the region with educational and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages and interests.

Located in Fayetteville, the Walton Arts Center hosts Broadway shows and other top performances in dance, music and theater. Opening in 2010, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville is envisioned as a premier national art institution. Founded by Alice Walton, the complex will feature 100,000 square feet of gallery, library, meeting and office space, a 250-seat theater and areas for outdoor entertainment, public events and large receptions. Springdale is home to Arts Center of the Ozarks, which brings a hands-on approach to the arts by offering a variety of classes and workshops as well as many performance arts pieces each season. Rogers Little Theater hosts dinner theater, concerts and children's shows at the historic Victory Theater in downtown Rogers. One of the region's most popular performances is The New Great Passion Play, an outdoor drama depicting the final days of Christ’s life on earth. The performance runs from late April to October. Opera in the Ozarks at Inspiration Point is also located in Eureka Springs. For over 50 years, the center has served as a springboard for the country’s brightest opera talent.
